Enjoy a healthy salad with this delicious dressing that is sure to take it up a notch.
⅓ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Crystal sour cream
¼ cup Crystal buttermilk
2½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chives, roughly chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
½ cup cherry tomatoes
½ tablespoon olive oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 medium head iceberg lettuce, sliced into 4 wedges
4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
1 avocado, diced
Prepare the buttermilk blue cheese dressing: In a medium sized bowl, add all dressing ingredients and stir to combine. Refrigerate the dressing while you prepare the salad ingredients.
Roast the tomatoes: Heat the oven to 400 °F. Place the tomatoes on a sheet pan, drizzle over the olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Roast until the tomatoes collapse, about 10 minutes. Set aside.
Assemble the salad: Divide lettuce wedges amongst four plates, add tomatoes, crumbled bacon, and avocado. Drizzle with buttermilk blue cheese dressing. Garnish with more chives.
