Products used

  • Strawberry Ice Cream

  • Heavy Whipping Cream

Directions

  • Step 1

    Strawberry Sauce
Combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.

Cook, stirring often, for about 10-15 minutes, or until the syrup is slightly thickened and the berries are soft and juicy. Transfer the sauce to a bowl and cool completely.

  • Step 2

    Whipped Cream
Pour the heavy whipping cream and sugar into a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer with a whisk attachment, whip the cream into medium peaks, 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

  • Step 3

    Assemble the Floats
Add 1 scoop of ice cream to each glass. Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of strawberry sauce over the ice cream. Add 1 more scoop of strawberry ice cream to each glass, and drizzle the ice cream with 1 more tablespoon of strawberry syrup.

Top each float with 8 ounces of sparkling lemonade. Finish the floats with a dollop of whipped cream, if using. Garnish with fresh strawberries and enjoy!
