Creamy Spiced Bean Dip

In the unlikely event that there are leftovers, roll them up in a tortilla with rice for a quick, savory snack.

  • 1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 4 ounce can of roasted diced green chiles
  • 2 tablespoons Crystal Sour Cream, plus ¼ cup more for garnish
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt


  • Step 1

    Combine the beans, chiles, 2 tablespoons sour cream, garlic, and spices together in a small food processor or high speed blender. Puree until smooth.

      Transfer the bean dip to a bowl and swirl in ¼ cup additional sour cream. Serve at room temperature or heat on the stove or microwave. Serve with chips and veggies.
