Waffles
- 6 large eggs
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Crystal sour cream
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 stick Crystal unsalted butter, melted
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- Non-stick cooking spray or melted butter for cooking
Topping
- Crystal sour cream
- Your favorite jam

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. -
Step 2
Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until thoroughly combined. -
Step 3
Add in sour cream and melted butter until mixture is smooth. Let mixture rest for 20 minutes before making the waffles. -
Step 4
Heat the waffle iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray or coat with butter.

Pour ¼ cup of the batter onto the waffle iron, close, and cook until golden brown. -
Step 6
Top the waffles with sour cream and your favorite jam.
Note: Norwegian waffles are usually made with a heart-shaped waffle iron, but if you don’t have one, a traditional waffle iron works just as well.
