Baking Together for the Holidays
Few things bring people together during the holidays like baking. To celebrate this season of baking and togetherness, we teamed up with three Crystal employees to share their own holiday baking traditions.

Sprinkle Holiday Cookies
Julie W., who's been with Crystal Creamery for 26 years, came up with this sugar cookie recipe when her sons were young. One bite of these colorful, buttery cookies, and you’ll see why. Topped with festive sprinkles and a homemade vanilla glaze, they’re perfect for your next cookie swap or holiday gifting. They’re soft, chewy, and sure to add cheer to your holiday table.
“I’ve been making these cookies for over 30 years! It is my most requested recipe.”
Julie W., Quality Dept., Modesto

Mama's Sweet Potato Pie
For LaTonia H. of Crystal’s Accounting Department, Thanksgiving isn’t complete without her Mama’s sweet potato pie. Sweet potatoes are baked until perfectly tender and then whipped smooth with butter, heavy cream, warm spices, and sugar. This is the kind of creamy dessert that brings the taste of cozy comfort to your holiday spread. The search for the best sweet potato pie is over!
It’s my Mama’s recipe that she and I used to cook together every Thanksgiving. Since she’s passed away, making this traditional family recipe every year brings a tear as well as a smile to my face.

Eggnog Loaf
Eggnog has been a holiday tradition for hundreds of years, and at Crystal, we can’t get enough of it this time of year. If you’re an eggnog lover like we are, you will love this decadent eggnog loaf from Carrie Q. of Crystal’s Accounting Department.
It’s made with rich and creamy Crystal eggnog, butter, and nutmeg, and finished with a sweet boozy glaze. Enjoy it with a warm up of coffee or share it with family and friends at your next holiday gathering.
