Diner Donut & Bacon Milkshake

Bacon adds a savory element that pairs perfectly with the sugary donuts, and the chocolate base brings it all together. It’s dessert for breakfast!

  • 2 strips of bacon
  • Crystal Chocolate ice cream
  • Whole milk
  • Donuts - 3 donut holes and 1 mini donut
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Whipped cream
  • Skewer

  • Step 1

    First, fry the bacon—2 strips per shake. Get it crispy, but be careful not to burn it. Once cooked, set the strips aside on a plate.

    Skewer the donut holes onto the end of the skewer; make a small cut in one part of the mini donut. Set aside.

    Blend the ice cream and whole milk to create a thick, creamy base.
  • Step 4

    Drizzle chocolate sauce on the inside of your glass. Pour the blended milkshake base into the chocolate-drizzled glass.

    Top with whipped cream, then drizzle with chocolate sauce.

    Tuck the bacon into the whipped cream, add the donut hole skewer, and place the mini donut on the side of the glass.
