Creamy Dijon Chicken Skillet

- Four chicken breasts (about 1 pound of chicken)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Crystal butter
- ½ yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ½ cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- ½ cup Crystal heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons fresh tarragon
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley

Step 1
Thoroughly season chicken breasts with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken breasts and cook 5 - 6 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through (165 degrees). Remove chicken from the skillet, and cover with foil to keep warm.

Add butter, onion and garlic in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 mins. Sprinkle flour over onions, and stir to coat. Slowly add white wine and cook, stirring, for 2 mins. Add chicken broth, mustards and heavy cream. Stir to combine. Place chicken back in the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened. Garnish with fresh tarragon and parsley, if desired.
